Infants/Toddlers
Simply put, this is a program that instills security, care, love, and interactive moments with our youngest children. Working in cooperation with the parents to ensure continuity of care. Implementing infant and toddler creative curriculum to promote growth, developmental milestones, and an overall well rounded school experience full of nurturing love.
Twos
This full day program offers a more structured morning routine, potty training, and exposure to larger creative projects, toys, and learning experiences. Our teachers will cater the daily lesson plans to ensure each child is learning and developing at their own pace. This is a wonderful year that prepares each child for the beginning of preschool. From field trips, cooking experiences, and academics your child will grow right before your eyes with a smile.
K3 Preschool
This is a full day program that promotes learning through play and social/emotional development. With the assistance of Creative Curriculum our 3 year old's will engage in activities that teach empathy, using words to describe feelings, letter and number recognition. Science projects and sensory opportunities are always a great source of fun and learning. Specific lessons will enhance the understanding of classification, shapes, colors, and opposites. North Shore Preschool has a daily schedule that ensures children are not in one room for all lessons and activities all day. Each class has a period in our specialty rooms. Art projects can be elaborate and include process along with product art as we have a large art room designated for creativity and imagination. Music & Movement is an opportunity for our students to learn from all different types of instruments, sounds, and games facilitated in our gross motor area. The children will be exposed to technology through the lessons of Computer Tots weekly. A daily schedule that moves its students throughout the day to rooms that accommodate the different elements of the curriculum promotes elementary readiness and keeps the day interesting!
K4 Preschool
Our K4 program provides the option of a full or half day program. Both programs are is built to reinforce the learning and care the school district provides. It is our goal to be in collaboration with the school district to ensure our curriculum standards are in sync with the districts and Wisconsin's educational standards. Whether you choose all day or half day, your child's learning at North Shore Preschool will prepare them for Kindergarten. Teachers will create lesson plans with the added guidance of Creative Curriculum. Our 4 year old students will engage in activities that continue to teach social/emotional development, simple phonics, letter blending, and counting concepts. Before and After School Program for K5-7th grade
During the school year our before and after school children will be engaging in play with friends using educational and fun materials. After school all children will be working with qualified teachers on their homework with tutoring possibilities. Play time will consist of in room options such as board games, building materials, and crafts. The children in this program also have the option after school of going to the art room or gross motor room. We are on the direct bus route to and from Parkway Elementary and Wilson Elementary. Breakfast and an after school snack are provided daily. Please look at our Summer Program for school agers as it is packed with adventure and learning that ensures a memory filled summer time.
